This is the documentation for the Joomla 4 & 5 version of Advanced Module Manager.
Are you looking for the Joomla 3 version of Advanced Module Manager?

Advanced Module Manager is a Joomla! administrator component (combined with a system plugin) that enhances the way your Module manager works.

With the standard Joomla setup, you can only use a Menu Assignment to control the display of modules.

Advanced Module Manager extends the possibilities immensely, with a Condition System and a wide range of Rules you can use to determine where and when modules show up on your site.

With Advanced Module Manager, in addition to Menu Items, you can conditionally show modules based on Categories, Dates, Users, Devices, Geolocation, Components, Templates, URLs, and much more, giving you full control over your Joomla modules.

Once Advanced Module Manager is installed, the core Joomla module manager will be replaced with the Advanced Module Manager. The Modules menu link under Extensions will no longer point to option=com_modules but to option=com_advancedmodules.

Also, the Regular Labs - Conditions manager will be installed, which stores all the Conditions you connect to modules or other Regular Labs extensions.

Advanced Module Manager also offers a few extra features to improve the module manager, like the ability to categorize modules, tag them with colors, and add HTML before/after the module content.
